Life On The Margin
People have asked me why I named the house C~Level with a tag line Life On The Margin.
As a business owner, we live on the margin, that space between what we sell products and services for, and what it costs to produce those goods. That margin is how this house came to be.
In my spiritual life, life on the margin are those seconds between the inhale and the exhale, that moment of sheer nothingness, when I am one with my Higher Self. Getting quiet and syncing my breath to the rhythm of the waves brings me to that place.
And at the beach, we literally are on the margin, the space between the earth and the sea. From this vantage, we see where the sky touches the ocean, and night touches day, the meridian between the seen and unseen, what is and what is yet to be. Spending time at the margin right sizes us.
I named the house C~Level for two reasons: C~Level, meaning the chief executive level, the place where you find those in charge. When you get to the C~Level, apparently you have “arrived”. And then there is the obvious play on words.. the house is at “sea level”.
This house is for all those “chiefs” who seek the adventure of Life On The Margin. You have arrived.
